Now that’s a majestic sight! Two bald eagles take in the beauty of the Wind River Mountains not far from Pinedale, Wyoming. The area boasts several campsites and the Pinedale Pathway – a trail winding by ponds built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. It’s a great place to learn about the area’s history, go fishing, take a hike and – of course – photograph the amazing wildlife. Photo by Mark Thonhoff, Bureau of Land Management - Wyoming.
